Briefcase — Privacy Policy
(known as Servieta in Romanian)

Last updated: 17.09.2026

Briefcase (“the app”) is made by Creators Academy, part of Creators Hub S.R.L. (Romania).
Creators Hub S.R.L. is the entity responsible for this app and for this policy.

This policy explains what the app does with information. The short answer is:
the app stores a display name you type and the words you play, on our server, so that the other
players in your room can see them. Nothing else is collected.

Who the app is for
Briefcase is a word game for families and children. It is meant to be played by 2 to 6 people.

What the app stores

When you join a room and play, the app stores:

  • the display name you type,
  • the room code,
  • the words you submit during the game,
  • your score and any penalties from that game.

That is the whole list. The app does not collect your email address, phone number, location,
contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or your device’s advertising id. It contains no
advertising, no analytics, and no crash-reporting or tracking code of any kind.

Why it is stored

Only so the game works. Your display name and the words you play are shown to the other players
in the same room — that is how the others know whose turn it is and which words have already been
played. Scores and penalties are shown in the same way, to the same people. The information is
not used for advertising, profiling, or anything else.

No account

There is no account, no sign-up, no email, no password, and no social login. To play, the app
creates a random, device-generated user id. You never give us your real identity, and we never
ask for it.

Where the information goes

The app sends the information above to its backend, which is hosted by Supabase, a hosting
provider. Supabase stores and serves that data on our behalf.
The connection between the app and the server is encrypted. The information is not
sold, not shared with anyone else, and only ever visible to the players in your room.

Children’s privacy

The app is made for children and families. It shows no advertising, contains nothing to buy, and
includes no analytics or tracking. The only things a child can enter are a display name and the
words they play, and those are shown only to the other players in the same room. We do not
knowingly collect any other information from children.

How your information is removed

The app keeps no accounts, so there is nothing to log into and delete. Room data — the room code,
the players’ display names, the words, and the scores — is temporary:

  • when the last player leaves a room, the room and everything in it is deleted immediately;
  • if a room is abandoned instead (everyone closes the app without formally leaving), the server’s
clean-up job removes it once every player has been inactive for 15 minutes. That job runs once an
hour, so abandoned data is gone within about an hour and a quarter.

In practice, you can have your data removed by leaving the room, or by simply closing the app and
not returning: the room is cleaned up automatically. If you want to be certain, write to us at the
address below and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new date.
